8 AGOSTO 2008 - GEORGIA - RUSSIA: E’ GUERRA PER L’OSSEZIA DEL SUD

C’erano una volta i Giochi Olimpici della Grecia Antica, durante i quali venivano sospese le guerre e i conflitti nell’Ellade.

Ci sono oggi i Giochi Olimpici DELL’ERA MODERNA, durante i quali le guerre non vengono sospese. Anzi, le guerre scoppiano proprio nel giorno della cerimonia inaugurale.

V. Putin < In Sud Ossezia di fatto è scoppiata una guerra >. Questo l’annuncio del premier russo a G. W. Bush durante l’inaugurazione dei Giochi a Pechino, secondo quello che ha riportato il portavoce Dmitry Peskov.

Il Presidente georgiano M. Saakashvili ha proclamato lo “stato di guerra” e ha chiesto al Parlamento di introdurre la legge marziale.

Il Caucaso si conferma una pentola a pressione che continuamente minaccia di esplodere. E gli evidenti interessi geopolitici sulla regione non lasciano intravedere niente di buono.

Durante i Giochi Olimpici parlare di sport? Ci piacerebbe…
